We took the light rail (Trax) to downtown.  Going first to the Salt Lake Mormon Temple.  We then enjoyed the Joseph Smith Memorial building (Formally the Hotel Utah).  Walking up South Temple a block we took a tour of the Beehive House.  Ending with lunch top of the Joseph Smith Building overlooking the temple.

Afterwards we toured the Great Salt Lake and then on to the Bingham copper mines.
