Birthe and Soren again welcomed us with open arms. 

Birthe was white washing the barn one day and it hit her, Everyone who has ever owned this farm has white washed this wall.

Later that trip, Soren took us to the side of the barn.  He pointed at the same wall and to a repair that had been done, showing a line of bricks.  He said two words that made tears swell up in my eyes.

"Anders Work"

Bodil, Anders all of their Children came to the US in 1857
